Continuation of Agencies

For local help, consult your phone book under Social Services, Senior Services, Home Health organizations, Public Health offices, Hospice for terminal cases, and doctors and nurses in geriatrics.

It's imperative that you take care of your own health or you won't be able to help others. Many people find themselves needing help with depression either seeking counseling, medication or both. While many more support groups are needed, many cities have Alzheimer related groups. For terminal situations and grief support, Hospice is the place to turn.

Whatever your other choices, you need people to share your story with who truly understand. My hope is you have a support group of your own, or friends who have been there. We have to put a name on our pain and give it voice or it will consume us. God Bless all of you. I hope you will find some of the support you need on this web site.
